| Posted by KC I-go mayway ony shows the highways Hi I have an in dash unit with built in GPS its running i-go myway 2006 in a SD card . It does not show the city streets .. It ony shows the highways. Now I am not sure if this is a legal copy on the SD or not . What can I do? Do you know where I can buy the software with USA maps? Thanks a lot for your time |
| Posted by Robbzi Igo This igo site sells the USA maps. Once u donwload just delete the old maps and place over the top. U should do this first then see if the street names are now showing. If there still not showing, you'll need to investigate into the Txt file as this has many of the parramaters for making sure such things show, and at what zoom etc. But let me know and ill look play around with my device and see if i can rectify if its still not working after the new map install. |
| Posted by ofers igo maps I think that you are missing your area's map. You can check which country maps are installed on your device using settings->about->maps (depends on the igo version you are using, it may show on a different setting route). But once you have a list of the installed maps you can see which areas will be more detailed. If this is not a legal copy, you may be able to download the maps for your area/country (I believe a bing search will easily reveal download sites), and add them to the correct location on the SD card. If you are looking to purchase a more complete version of the software, that shouldn't be a problem as well Good Luck |
