| Posted by victorbishop Two microphones on Nuvi 760 I just got my Nuvi 760 back from repair (only one week away, well they sent me a new unit not repaired mine) and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a small upgrade in that the new unit has two microphones now, one on the left and one on the right hand side now. | Posted by chet55 That's a 765 chassis The new Nuvi 765 has the dual microphones. Looks like you made out on this deal. Does it have the new map look, with lane assist? |
| Posted by Guest Dual mics No, it looks exactly the same and there is no lane assist that I can see. The sticker on the base says it is a nuvi 760. Still happy that it has two mics now, much better in the truck I drive, no one has had problems hearing me since I recived this one. Vic |
| Posted by ivan.ivasenko re: I'm pretty sure that they have installed 2 mics because Garmin sells its devices to the left-wheel drive countries and to the right-wheel drive countries as well. With 2 mics on both sides the quality of sound for your interlocutor does not depend on the country where you're located. |
