| Posted by LNRBILL 2009 Nuvi 680 update 10 issue I updateds my Nuvi 680 to 2009 map version 10. my nuvi now doesn't give street instructions . I have to actually look at screen to see when to turn. By the time if signals I'm already on top of intersection.. |

| Posted by chet55 Issues with 2009.1 maps Garmin support is aware of several problems with the 2009.1 maps. I have an 885T and when I updated my map, POI icons appeared all over the screen. Tech Support says they are working on a fix and should release it soon. Watch this post for a fix... |

| Posted by orion50 Map Update I updated my NUVI 680 with the current map update and now numerous local roads are labeled with what appear to be database indexes rather than names. Such as CR41 or CRV25. These designations do not relate to the acutal county or state road signs. The correct information will show in the status line as you approach the road or recieve instructions to make a turn onto the road. It is very confusing to see the road improperly labeled. It would be better off not labeled at all. Garmin phone support just says to enter a map correction. This would be several extensive just for my immediate area. Does anyone know how to modify the map directly? |

There is a known problem with update, it sometimes deletes the voice files. Just go back to Webupdate and reload the voices you need. Remember for Text-to-voice you need to load the TSS voice file. |
