| Posted by grantdale1 Formatting NAVMAN S50 After numerous crashes with my S50, and NAVMAN unable to assist, I would like to try a full format and sfw reload. I have just received from NAVMAN a CD with new maps, and CD also appears to have a new version of SmartST, so will try a full reinstallation from the CD. Has anybody tried a full format of any of the S series NAVMANs, and had success in reinstalling the SmartST sfw. I would appreciate instructions on process / steps followed. |
| Posted by grantdale1 Topic Closed I have closed topic after NAVMAN Tech Support contacted me and advised not to format S50, and provided step by step instructions of deleting files and recreating. I will enter the steps provided after I have done more testing of the results. Refer my other Topic on Crashing S50. |
