| Posted by gary33 Nuvi 310 / Nokia N95 / Address Book Can anyone help with advise as to what would be the best setup with regard to using the Nuvi 310 with a Nokia N95. Is it possible to create an Address Book (obviously without GPS co-ords) which could then be copied over to the Nuvi so as to use the Address Book in the Nuvi, rather than trying to sync the address book in the Nokia N95? If so, what piece of software would be best to use? What I would like to be able to do is just use the Nokia for making call from my Nuvi address book which would be saved as a POI file on my Nuvi. |
| Posted by vinsons43 Phone Contacts I cannot be absolutely sure as I don't have a Nuvi 310 - but try the following to selectively take Contacts from your Nokia to your Nuvi. Assuming you have paired them first for bluetooth, then turn the Nuvi off. On your Nokia , go into Contacts select Options then for each contact you want, select Mark (to bring in all Contacts you would simply select Mark All). Having 'marked' each contact you want to bring across, select Send (under Options) and then select via Bluetooth. Now switch on your Nuvi and wait for the units to pair up. On the Nuvi go into Phone and you should now see a new option Phone Book with those Contacts you brought across. |
