| Posted by Winyin Points of interest I have been trying to get help with my points of intrest for Tomtom that do not seem to exsist. The first person I talked with tried to help me by having me download a file that I could not find on the web site. I called back and got someone else and they had me down load POI's but only got a few. I tried again and am being told the same thing I guess I will not be able to get point of interest unless I know the address first. Can any tell me how I am supposed to get POI's? I made a bad assumtion that the unit would come with them. Before I added the ones suggest, like McDonalds I have some fast food placed but I don't have any good places, like Red Robin or Olive Garden. Should have bought the Garmin my friend had hers works great. Also what is considered a POI close to you. Is that one close to the home you put in? I will check this site again for any answers I can get. In the mean time I guess I will have to carry a phone book with me for what ever city I am in, so I can get an address, because at least with an address I can get this unit to work. |

We have Points of interest and updates for Garmin, Magellan, Nokia, CoPilot, TomTom, Navman, Mio and many other popular GPS units. You can even register for periodic updates of your outdated POI database with low or no out-of-pocket expenses. Regards |
