| Posted by bgroughan igo2008 nieve newbie G'day help needed I'm wanting to know how to move the downloads & maps etc onto the SD card and then does it recognise the new files? or is there more to it? I have tried to put some on the card but it doesn't seem to do anything. |

| Posted by Robbzi Moving to SD and still recognising For this , you will need to research and install a software called MIO Pocket. Its all done on the SD card, there are instructions. Once you have completed this, ull be able to have everything running off the SD card, different maps, get to all your downloads, and even run other gps software from the SD card. Its the method i used, and best of all, if u want to, u just take out the SD card and reboot and itll boot as normal, with the original GPS software as it originally was. So the thing is u are making all the changes on the sd card, and if u stuff up, its all fixable by just taking it out. |

It is quite simple, you tien to rename the folder in your sd, within igo igo folder content, put maps in the map folder in this folder |
