| Posted by sp0ng3r Need to buy a Tomtom, which one should I get? I need to buy a TomTom. I am looking for something that works, does not have extreme contrast/glare, one that I can install voices onto, and one that has a good POI database. I live In LA. Which one should I get? Second, how good do these free voices sound? If I get one, will it sound terrible, or pretty acceptable? I am most interested in the Sean Connery voice. Thank you in advance for the help. |
| Posted by triptip Re: Need to buy a tomtom, which one should I get? Any Garmin model will be better if you live in the USA. Tomtom has quite old maps, the most expensive accessories and poor to non-existing customer support. I would stick to the Garmin GPS in the USA. |
