| Posted by H Vesta TomTom latest map guarantee I just bought a Go 920 after their telephone rep told me that they had a latest map guarantee no matter where I bought it. I purchased on-line from one of their dealers. Called tech support and was told that version 710 on my machine was not the latest version 715. They authorized me for version 715 downloads. Two days later version 720 came out for which they want me to pay $100 each for USA and Europe. I wrote a letter of appeal to their office in Concord MA and have yet to hear from them, not even a go away and do not bother us you unimportant customer. HSC |
| Posted by Guest Warranty, Tech support etc. Because I have purchased TT 920T from EBay and the seller was not an authorized retailer, TomTom Inc. does not honor the unit's USA warranty and all other commitments such as "latest Map guaranty" "tech support" etc. BUYERS BEWARE ! |
