| Posted by kurt need to find earlier firmware for tomtom 510 Hi- hope you can help, as tomtom has been absolutely no help! I bought a 510 and have it in my car, it worked fine and turned off with the car power, on with the car power. I just updated the os to the latest .525 and now it will not turn off when power is turned off to it! But, it still turns on when it senses power. I talked to tomtom support, and their newest .525 'disables' it from auto-turning off!! So, unless I remember to pres the power button, I come back to my car and a dead tomtom. They basically told me 'too bad if you don't like it'. They also said they could not give me a an ealier os to re-install. Their service sucks! Can yuo possibly give me a pre-.525 version to install? I don't care about customizations or lsing what I have set up on mine, I just need to get the auto-off feature back. Can you help? |
