| Posted by michael_morgan Garmin Map Pilot Mercedes Benz Safety Camera POI Help Hi All, I'm trying to get the UK Speed Cameras to show in the Garmin Map Pilot navigation on my Mercedes C Class (W205 (2018)). I believe this is the COMMAND 20 unit, not COMMAND Online. I'm not having much luck so far. I am downloading the single file for UK Speed Cameras, that is to say the Mercedes 2013 POI file from https://www.gps-data-team.com/poidownloads.php and then converting it to a .gpi file using POILoader. This operation is successful. I am renaming the file to PersonalPOI.gpi and placing it into a new folder called PersonalPOI in the same directory that the existing POI folder sits. However, I am not seeing the speed cameras or traffic cameras when i view the map; in the same way that I can see the existing POIs such as fuel, ATM, etc. I have searched the forum and followed the various guides, which has now led me to this post. I'd be grateful for a bit of a steer as to where I might be going wrong. Thanks in advance. |
