| Posted by Yvonne ESSO Ancaster ON L9K 1J8 Was at Heidi's Esso today. Bought a coffee at Tim Horton's and paid for my gas. Distracted, I left the station without putting gas in my car. Drove away from the station and upon realizing I forgot to put gas in my car I returned to the station (within one half hour) and explained to the man at the counter what I had done. He said because I prepaid with my debit card I could not get the gas. He was aware I did not pump the $40.00 into my car. He said he cancelled the transaction when he did not see my car. He fully understood that I had paid and forgot to pump the gas in my car. It just happened to be me today! |
