| Posted by geoff.stewart Preloaded SD Card maps I recently purchased a Drivesmart 60 but when I inserted my Garmin preloaded 2GB card South Africa map it does not recognise the card, i.e. no map. Garmin support tell me that the Drivesmart does not recognise SD cards under 4GB? I contacted Garmin UK and they tell me that is not correct?? Can anyone shed some light here please as Garmin don't seem to know! |
| Posted by LIONDAD Get a copy of 2GB SD card Raw data a copy of your map file to 4gig card. Make sure you format card to default, 32 bit FAT file system before coping from 2GB card. And make sure you write protect you 2GB SD card to protect the maps you have on 2GB SD card. |
