| Posted by KP RNS-510 DB3 Merge I have been trying to run the RNS-510 DB3 POI Editor (Online) tool ( https://www.gps-data-team.com/convert/merge-db3-file.php ) for 2 days, trying to merge 2 files I purchased from GPS Data Team. But it hangs for 20 minutes then says the service is busy and then returns to the Tool input page. There are no resultant files in my browser Downloads folder. |

| Posted by Mark Re: RNS-510 DB3 Merge Hi KP, Either our script runs out of time (your Internet connection may be too slow to transfer large files withing acceptable script time), or your files are too large. However, you do not have to merge our files as we merge all files for you (all files placed in your Cart are downloaded as a single file). I'll ask someone to debug that script if none of the above is true. Regards |

| Posted by KP RNS-510 Db3 merge Ah OK, that's good news (about the files being merged already). But I only bought the files as a Guest user. So will they still be merged in the 2nd file ? I still have my login password. I have a fast FTC broadband connection and transfer massive databases as a home worker. Tried it again today and I got the same error. Maybe it's because I am trying to merge a file that is already merged into the 2nd ? Thanks for you reply. |

Yes, as long as you used the same "guest" account.
Looks like that script needs Andrew's fine touch to display a proper error message when guests try to merge our DB3 files. It should work well for any compatible external DB3s. Regards |
