| Posted by iandhoskin Garmin does not accept micro sd card. Nuvii 55 will not accept Micro sd card. The card goes in but there is no soft click or feeling that it it has engaged. It encounters something that will not allow it to go any further in so that it is fully inserted. Anyone else had this and is there a fix? |
| Posted by GarminGuy Insert SD cards with the power OFF! I had a similar problem with a DriveAssist 50LMT unit. I found that if you remove the card(s) from the unit and power it off, and then re-insert the cards and power the unit back up, THEN (and only then) will the unit properly see the card(s) (My unit has a slot for two SD cards, one for the camera, and one for the maps storage.) Also, use an adapter and check the card(s) on your PC to make sure that the card(s) are working properly, and if you reformate them, use FAT-32 formatting. |
