Posted by crosemffet How to change the resolution for IGO navigation I've already purchase all the IGO Navigation package, maps, traffic subscription, etc for my android car radio (No carrier Rockchip Rk3188) using android 4. The software works ok, and is really fantastic. The problem is the radio has 7 inch hi resolution display (1024x7680) So, when using the Igo application, all the street names, signs, letters, warnings, all is to small to read. there's no chance to read the display while you are driving with this resolution. Even the display touch keyboard to enter destinations is so small, so when you try to type the 'D' letter you probably type the 'F' or the 'S' or whatever. Need to reduce the display resolution for the application. I think 800x600 will be fine. tTe problem is I can't find any resolution setting in configuration, so please I need the instructions to change the resolution to 800x600 for the application (only for IGO app). The rest of the device works ok. What file should I edit / change to modify the resolution? If I can't change the resolution, the product can't be used. Thanks you in advance. |
Posted by mickyowens Sys.txt If your android version has a Sys.txt file then add this (or change whatever is in there) [interface] resolution_dir="800_600" It should force the device into whatever screen res you put in at this point, have a play around and tweek it if needed. |
