| Posted by travelingmama Garmin Express, This may take a minute I just bought a new Garmin. I am trying to get all the software and maps updated but it is stuck between the software stage and the maps stage. It has been saying "This may take a minute" to prepare to download the maps for at least two hours. I don't know if this is normal or there's a problem. I don't want to waste time before travel with nothing downloading. Has anyone else run into this problem? |
| Posted by larryllix response Yup, 19 hours here. Mostly with just map updates it is about 4-5 hours. It's the Garmin server Palm Pilot they use. |
