| Posted by adystate IGo 9 (android) map screen disappears (Black screen) Have just installed a Chinese android head unit which came with IGo Primo 9 It works great!........ ....except that whilst driving the map screen disappears and is replaced by a black screen that shows my speed in bold characters. Now, if I touch the screen this disappears and shows the map, but only for a few seconds, and then it reverts back to the black screen. It is driving me crazy. I have spent ages going over all the settings and cannot find a way to alter this behaviour. Anyone have any ideas? I have searched on the forum but find no mention of this issue. |
| Posted by Guest iGO GPS Black screen issue. I have found an answer to this problem. The screen I am getting is the 'screensaver' screen and there is a 'Power' button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. When the screen first appears soon after making your first turn, you just need to press this 'Power' button, and the screensaver is then disabled for the rest of the journey OR until you turn the ignition off. |
