Problem is the list is evolving and will need regular update so need to learn how to do it myself...

Think I am part way there now!!
Got lat & long but the Long are all minus figures, does that sound right?

You can load your file with addresses or simply copy and paste them to the geocoder input text box.

Here is an example:

30 Leicester Square, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 7LA
24 Grosvenor Square, London, W1A 1AE United Kingdom
23-28 Penn Street, London, N1 5DL

450 W. 33 Street, New York, NY 10001
1014 Fifth Avenue New York, NY 10028
202 W. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA 90012

280 Metcalfe Street; Ottawa
195 Rideau Street, Ottawa
491 Somerset Street Ottawa Ontario

Visualize and confirm all coordinates and save your file to Garmin or any other GPS unit.

Here is a Garmin final output saved as CSV file:

; This POI file was generated by GDT POI Manager - http://www.gps-data-team.com/
-0.1295953, 51.5101173, "30 Leicester Square London United Kingdom"
-0.1488319, 51.5000222, "24 Grosvenor Square London W1A 1AE United Kingdom"
-0.0844774, 51.5360824, "23-28 Penn Street London N1 5DL"
-73.9986466, 40.7535116, "450 W. 33 Street New York NY 10001"
-73.961644, 40.779157, "1014 Fifth Avenue New York NY 10028"
-118.245286, 34.052691, "202 W. 1st St. Los Angeles CA 90012"
-75.6913478, 45.4158297, "280 Metcalfe Street; Ottawa"

Brendon,
Export the list as a CSV file, or simply copy and paste all addresses to the geocoder text input box. I usualy firstly use the PoiManager to find GPS coordinates, save that file and load it with the GPX Editor to add media files and proximity tags.
