My Tomtom 910 screen freezes when you disconnect it from computer, Is there a correct way to disconnect. I have to push the reset button to get ie working again, Please help. Is this the correct forum to get help on this? Thanks

| Try right clicking on "External hardware" down in the system tray, bottom right corner of XP. Then select "Safeley Eject Hardware". Or if you are using a mac, click on the TomTom Disk and press CMD(Apple)+E.

| In TomTom Home click on device at the top of the screen then click on disconnect device - you must do this every time or use the safely disconnect hardware icon in the systems tray on your pc

| Make sure that if you are running TomTom home that you click on Disconnect Device at the top of the screen and follow the instructions. The other option is to click on remove hardware icon in sys tray.
