Hi
Anyone any idea why my F20 has parts of UK missing?
I tried putting a postcode in for Northampton and it wouldn't accept it. When I got near to Northampton the map just disapeared with the message: "Get back on a recognized road"
This had around a 50 mile radius. Can I update my map any where ? |

Sounds like the area you wish to go to does not have that area in the maps.
Happens all around Australia in the F20 with the maps I have currrently installed in unit.
You will have to get/pay for latest maps and hope that they will have the area covered now.
Due to cost of maps I chose to get the latest model Garmin 765 (also have the old StreetPilot 3) as I haven't been impressed with the Navman, or their service attitude in the past.

In Australia many roads and 'burbs have been built and so you go down a road and the unit shows you are in a paddock.
That's when I flip the iPhone out with Google maps, makes me wonder why I use the F20 anymore....
