I have several POI files for Garmin, some of which contain more than 500,000 points. Can Tom Tom support these kinds of numbers, and if so is there someone who offers this conversion as a service? Thanks |

Our POI team members can do anything you need with any poi file. However, your Tomtom will choke with that file due to it's size.

| Thx for the reply. What would be the largest file (or max number of points) the TT could handle without making it choke? I make maps for agricultural users in Canada with field locations, the Garmin allows me to create .img map files that can handle millions of POIs, but I've promised a customer I can get these maps onto his fleet of TomToms - maybe I can shrink the original data to buffer a set distance around a central location.
