I currently have a Garmin Nuvi 350, but I am considering a replacement model. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good GPS for Europe? I like the Garmin features better than those I have seen from TomTom, but I am not totally committed. |

| I agree, Garmin is user friendly. Take model with bigger screen , and FM TMC traffic receiver. Nuvi 760.

| I do find the nuvi 1340 one of the best for europe navigation. I've just done a 4000 km road trip and it worked flawlessly the entire time. The only negative point is the lack of creating routes, but I guess that with a litle bit of forward planning you can create a POI for each waypoint.

Get an Iphone, good anywhere, and you can use it outside your car as well. Very handy if you are just travelling. It is very easy to update. What more could you want?

Yes the best is indeed a iphone.
Iphones are global and work in every country on this planet.
Iv been around the world in the past few years and with the exception of Norway I could use my navigator on my iphone everywhere. Don't be cought out, get a iphone you wont be sorry, but don't get anything under the 3rd generation. 32GB OR up will do it well as the firmware is better
