      Can anyone confirm that the uniden GNS 8350 can enter a street name prior to the city?
There is a feature of the Tom Tom I dislike which is the fact you have to enter a city before you can enter a street name.

Hi
I'm an everyday user, and yes you can just type in the street name. It will give you a selection of all the streets with the same name in the whole state, as I'm in NZ, that is not too big a list, but it may differ elsewhere.
