Can any body out there help me? Where can I buy a replacement battery for the AWA X100 navsat that I purchased from Big W about 2 years ago. It has never held a charge once it was diconneted from the cigarette lighter. Who are the agents/repair people in WA. |

| I would contact Woolworths, as AWA does not really exist anymore. I think AWA is a brand that Woolworths put on it.

It is probably a pretty standard battery, so you also might try taking it to an electronics shop, like Dick Smiths or Curries. They should be able to help you.

If you dismantle the back of your navsat you should find the battery can be easily removed. I purchased a GPS from target sometime ago, a Logic Gear SL350D best GPS iv ever used the map display and software was fantastic, I now have a tomtom (Previously a destinator) and it sucks compared to the logic gear software. I had the same problem as you after about 6 months the battery didnt hold charge.
I removed the old battery and replaced it with an old phone battery, happened to be the exact same size, all i had to do was solder on the connecting wires. if you remove the battery take its measurements match the measurements to batteries being sold on battery and/or hobby websites.
