Hi
I've GMobile XT 4.0 on my Nokia N95 8GB with Australian Map. I've two questions
Has some one tested Mobile XT ver 5.0 with Australian 2009 Map?
How we can get Visible and audible alerts for POIs like Safety or Speed Camera?

Hi
I have GMobile XT running with Australian Map 2009 on my N96.
I also have all the safety camera POI's running (with a whole lot of other POI's), Mark has been very helpful and patient with my novice questions, the only problem I have is that the alerts for the speed camera's are only alert tones, not the actual voice alerts, it is still a work in progress.
The files that you need to get visible and audio safety camera alerts for XT are on this website.

Update your Garmin XT software via the Garmin site to version 5.020
See here.
Works a treat!

| I use Garmin XT 5.00.50 and Europe NT 20010.1 and work great on Nokia E66.

Yes the Australian 2009 maps works great with the Garmin Mobile XT sogtware.
I agree with Anthony that you only get warning beeps and not the actual sounds but I think I had done something wrong in installation so I am going to try again.

OK, I'm running the N96 as well, and mine only goes ding ding ding when I got in to one of these zones.
Are you saying that it should say something as well?
Also guys, Australia 2010 map is out and works a treat
