      l bought my GPS on ebay , it didn't say what make it was and the manual came writen in chinese , l donloaded a translated copy of the manaul but it still doesn't tell me what make it is. the "cmos chip" is a samsung s3c2440a-40 and the operating system is Win CE 5.0. Could you help me find make and model so l can update maps and software.

I am very pleased with mine, to be honest I am not dissapointed with it at all with regard to how well it works.

Where are you from ?
What type of nav software is it Route66 ?
I bet you did not get a CD with the software either Smile

I have also purchased a Route 66 GPS and have I think discovered it is a SAMSUNG 2440a 3.5".

I require a USER MANUAL as the one they supplied is different than the unit i purchased

Hope someone out there can help me

If it's running WinCE 5, it should run TomTom Navigator 7.910.9185 + iGO Amigo + iGO 8 all perfectly, so you have quite a choice available.
