Doesnt have text to speech although at the time that i purchased the unit.
There werent any models around with text to speech.

Don’t like the new menu system you will need to drill down a few screen to find the option you want but I guess one will get use to it. Text on menu and map are very small compare to my old Navman S80. The cradle looks pretty cool but the down side is the power connector is hanging loose so you’ll have to try to connect the power to the unit before you slide it into the cradle. The problem with this set up is the cable is hooked onto the back of the cradle and hard to pool out to try to connect the power while you are trying to slide it into the cradle... |

Dont bother with Navman subscription as they are slow in being updated. I rely on my Road Angel for that job which is done excellently by Blackspot. |

The strength rating I would give this unit is a 6 out of ten.

The only problem this unit has, is it will nor run Duel system e.g. If runing GPS you cant have the AM/FM runing in the back ground, so that you can listen to the radio and have the GPS cut in to give you directions and then return back to the radio. This function was Supposed to work but it had a fault so the supplier removed it untill they coulf get a fix for it.
The Weaknesses rating I would give this unit is a 4 |

I love my TomTom and take it everywhere. I love the colours, the responsiveness, and the amazing job it does getting me to where I need to go with no hassles. It is very intuitive when I need to change the route. I love that it syncs with the FM radio so I can hear it, if I use the sound option. |
